1. Describe your journey in cybersecurity so far
I started my IT career Journey way back in 2K. At that time WINDOWS 95 and 98 Operating systems were very much used and associated with Novell Server with Boot ROM on PCs called 386 & 486 without Hard drives boot with Boot ROM and running computerization had just started like P-I & II.
At that time the kind of IT and security awareness was very minimal, a computer virus was considered a big threat and if it makes an entry into any computer or IT environment then it uses to cause a big panic across the organization. To counteract the virus the antivirus Tools on floppy 1.44 MB was the only remedy to keep all systems with the latest file definitions and to update Window’s Latest Patches.
IT staff had to a spend lot of time ensuring that all computers are updated in a timely manner. computer systems are the latest and necessary precautions taken to keep cyber attackers are kept away. After That, I have taken Gap from IT to Involving in Educating program in IT. Overall 19 years of Experience but in security 12+ years.
2. According to you which are the top 2 threats in Cybersecurity?
Cyber Crime:- Human Error gap is to be filled with educating proper training programs and keeping the environment safe.
Ransomware Be prepared for ransomware attacks and recover with confidence. backup and recovery, both on-premises and in the cloud.
