Akhil Verma has recently joined Paytm Money as their Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Previously he was working with Airtel Payments Bank as CISO.

Akhil Verma has a proven experience of 17 years and has been associated with the banking and financial services industry. He has worked with leading organizations like Canara Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce.

He was AVP IS & IT Audit at Janalakshmi Financial Services. He has also worked at Fincare Small Finance Bank as Sr. GM & CISO before joining Airtel Payments Bank in November 2018 as CISO.

Akhil holds certificates like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), and many more.
