Overview and Importance of Operation Risk during COVID Times

Thursday, 06 August 2020, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Operational risk summarizes the uncertainties and hazards a company faces when it attempts to do its day-to-day business activities within a given field or industry. With volatility in the business today, Operation risk is the most important thing someone should consider. Operational risk focuses on how things are accomplished within an organization and not necessarily what is produced or inherent within an industry.

These risks are often associated with active decisions relating to how the organization functions and what it prioritizes. Operational risk sources may be internal or external to the business and are usually generated by people, processes, and technology. Identification is one of the most important areas of managing risk. Failure to identify risk will certainly mean that no action is taken to manage that risk. There are a number of different techniques that can be used to identify risk.

This session will help to understand the overview of Ops risk and its relevance in today’s world.
